Durch Auftritte als Bassist mit ‚Der Nino aus Wien‘ sowie ‚Clara Luzia‘ ist ‚pauT‘ bereits einem breiten Publikum bekannt. Als Instrumentalist/Sänger ist er auf Alben von ‚Wanda‘, ‚Tocotronic‘ & ‚Andre Heller‘ zu hören. Jetzt kommt pauT auch nach Graz.
Unter dem Namen pauT konnte er mit dem Titel ’sepp hat gesagT, wir müssen alles anzünden‘ den Fm4-Protestsongcontest gewinnen. Am 24. April 2020 veröffentlichte ‚pauT‘ sein neues Album ‚welTraumkaTzen‘. Ein Konzept-Album ganz im Stil der 60ies/70ies mit musikalischen Hommagen an ‚The Beatles‘, ‚David Bowie‘ und das Space-Age of Pop. Der ‚bayrische Rundfunk‘ präsentierte das Album unter dem Slogan ‚So klingt ein kosmisches Genie‘, die ‚Wiener Zeitung‘ bezeichnete pauT als ‚Unknown Legend der österreichischen Musikszene‘.
Als Unterstützung bei den Live-Shows (wie auch am Album) ist die charmante Ladies-Band the greaT kellys mit an Bord! Gemeinsam bringen ‚pauT & the greaT kellys‘ ein Psychedelic-Spektakel auf die Bühne, die Konzerte werden zur Zeitreise zwischen den Roaring Sixties und den 2020ern.

A grain is a tiny snippet of sound that lasts for 5 to 20 milliseconds. If you string together several grains, new sounds emerge. Another Vision’s grainy pop is an intimate dance between high gloss and image noise. Clouds of sound, a mix of the analog and the synthetic, fill up the space – like glaring flashes of light punctuating a warm summer night here and there. Pulses dancing to the beat, the breathing growing heavy – until the last grain fades away.
Then, suddenly, you’re outside. Backlights are glistening on the wet surface of the road. And even though the night looks the same as always, the air is electric.
Another Vision is made up of Moritz Kristmann and Michael Schmücking. The two musicians from Innsbruck have been creating electrifying clouds of sound since 2015. In live shows, together with Patrick Huter on the drums, they become a force of nature akin to sheet lightning.
